In this free video lesson PGA Professional Mike Adames teaches you a quick drill for instant swing feedback. All you need is two snow poles and a trusted wedge. You’ll place one pole between your club head and the ball, pointed at your target, and another three feet behind the ball on the same plane angle as your club’s shaft at address.

The key to receiving proper feedback with this drill is swinging beneath the angled pole each time, starting with a waist-high stroke. Mike recommends using a teed ball so you guarantee yourself a perfect lie. If you’re swinging under the pole and making clean contact stroke after stroke, you’re doing it right!
