Mark Wilson of the PGA Rules Committee discusses some of the most prevalent examples of Rule 13 in the players’ rulebook, which states that a golfer should play their ball as it lies. He talks about a few different scenarios, including approaching a ball that lies in a fairway divot, taking practice swings at a ball that lies in tall grass, and testing the condition of a bunker in preparation for a shot.
